Leonie was kind enough to send me some little clip pictures for each comic in the collection, initially because I was going to do a mini-review of the comic, but I’ve decided it’s probably unfair to rate each entry since one of them is mine and I’m obviously biased. However I’m laying them down here with a little about what each comic entails…
The Creature by Tony Hitchman
A dialogue free story about love and pity under the sea.
Matt Danson by me
A horror story about a disaffected ex-sitcom actor.
The Failure of the Gant Probe by Nigel Auchterlounie
Proabably my favourite comic in the bundle, about an alien autopsy.
There Goes Tokyo by Dave West
A ’song’ about Giant gallivanting lizards.
Walk on by by Andrew Richmond
A sad comic about social responsibility… and slappers.
The Sky’s Above by Colin Mathieson
Another sad one, this time about war and growing up.
Ultimate Terror by Ian Mayor
A story about a nasty trip to the dentist. Has probably the best artwork of the bunch.
So, yeah, if you have a few pennies to spare, why not throw them at this book (not literally). You can buy it here, and thanks to the few people I know who’ve bought it solely on the back of me being in it. Bring it along to me and I will autograph it for you… please… I want to sign at least one autograph in my life.
