It Has Recently Come to My Attention That I Am Not Really Very Funny

How have I decided to combat that phenomenon?  Well, rather than spend my time and effort on trying to make something a little offbeat and fun to show my friends, I’ve decided to try out a more traditional web comic approach today.  Two wise cracking buddies? CHECK! Sarcastic wit? CHECK!  Disappointingly self indulgent?  CHECK!  I swear to God, if I made this thing about video games and called it ‘Joystick Botherers’, I could make a fucking FORTUNE selling my ropey .jpegs on Cafepress.

So yes, the moral of today’s comic is that I’m losing my ‘funny’ somewhat and I’m beginning to doubt that I had it in the first place.  However, this hasn’t stopped Justin Collins ploughing himself a career, and it shan’t stop me making comics.  (And no more of this fucking talking heads meta-humour stuff.  Until I bring back Horse and Pylon.  I really don’t have a maintainable system of artistic values).  Apologies to Kevin, for although I presented him as the heroic voice of reason in this one, I also presented him as a squashed headed freak in a monk’s habit.

Oh, and as a newly unfunny person I’m obliged to  provide my own first comment to this post:
